Each block is capable of producing about 1 lb. of gorgeous clusters of coin-sized mushrooms with red-amber caps and golden stalks (first fruiting averages a little over a pound). One of the easiest mushrooms to cook because Chestnut mushrooms are edible from top to bottom and keep their crunch and color.
